RELIABLE DESIGN THAT HARMONISES FORM AND FUNCTION.
René Kuntzag is on the lookout for significant solutions for everyday life. Stainless steel as a sustainable material supports him in this. The powerful lines and elegant surfaces of the material offer exciting tightrope walks in reduction and bring the focus back to the essentials. As an industrial designer, he takes a holistic view of the design process: production, use and aesthetics are given equal attention.
After studying Industrial Design at the HTW Berlin, René Kuntzag gained extensive experience at Tchibo Home & Living and the start-up company Roobaya. His final thesis was honoured with the Jan Czochralski Prize in Berlin.
VALUE THROUGH FORM AND FUNCTION.
By studying product design at the University of Applied Sciences in Coburg, Andreas Vater initially gained sound knowledge in various areas of industrial design. His distinctive feeling for forms already led him into the field of furnishing objects in his bachelor’s thesis.
For him, designing good products means shaping high-quality materials into durable products whose shape and functionality enrich everyday life and living space. Stainless steel serves as the perfect basis for the balanced and timeless designs. Supported by his philosophy of questioning the existing, a personal touch can still be found in every product.
